Quality of Power Supply
Our performance standards are to provide quality power supply
to our electricity consumers who are regularly paying their electricity
bills within the stipulated dates as mentioned therein. The services shall
only remain suspended during force majeure conditions such as war, civil commotion,
riot, flood, cyclone, lightning, earthquake or other unforeseen circumstances such as strike,
lockout, fire affecting the Corporation and their activities.
We promise to act in response within 4 hours to a consumer's complaint regarding higher/lower
voltage and frequency of POWER SUPPLY beyond the tolerance limit (as prescribed under
Indian Electricity Rules) at the point of COMMENCEMENT OF SUPPLY.
We promise to improve the QUALITY OF POWER SUPPLY within 15 days of receiving the ORIGINAL COMPLAINT
or furnish a written reply to the electricity consumer intimating them the reason
for poor quality of power supply, if the same is beyond our control. We promise to respond within
180 days in respect of the complaint regarding low voltages arising due to inadequacy in
the DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM requiring UPGRADATION OF DISTRIBUTION TRANSFORMERS (DTRs) AND ITS
ASSOCIATED LINES OR INSTALLATION OF LT CAPACITORS etc.
